We had a super great time at Blakfyre Games!
We started with a super informative GM101 event. We had about six people participating with me, and we all learned a lot. Even those of us who have been GM’ing for decades were able to benefit through the discussions. It gave me a deeper appreciation for other GM styles, and reminded me of some very important things when running Pathfinder Society.
We went on to play two slots after that. I ran 4-07 : Severed Ties and 3-EX: The Cyphermage Dilemma. The season 3 Special was super exciting. We had a lot of great RP and the players loved the boons given.
Personally, I really enjoyed playing with GMs and players from Salt Lake and the Pleasant Grove area at the same time. It was super fun, and well all learned new rules, builds, and styles from one another. Of course, we had some debates, as well, but everyone was very gracious, and there was no ill feelings in the end.
I want to personally thank Gary for hosting and GM’ing, as well as Brian and Dave for GM’ing some tables as well.
Our next Mega Event will be Winterfest at Dragon’s Keep in Provo. Hope to see you there!!
